Betty Sizemore is een dromerige huisvrouw die de hele dag wegdroomt bij haar favoriete soap 'A Reason To Love'. Ze is helemaal weg van het personage van doktor David Ravell en wanneer de ellende thuis haar te veel wordt, besluit ze naar Los Angeles af te reizen op zoek naar de doktor uit de serie. Wanneer ze hem vindt, weet ze hem te verleiden en wordt ze zijn vriendin. De acteur die de dokter speelt, weet echter niet dat Betty in een staat van shock verkeert en de grip op de realiteit volledig kwijt is.
Nee, helaas is Nurse Betty nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
