Frank Leone kreeg vijf jaar voor ontsnapping. Nu heeft hij nog zes maanden te gaan. Maar de gevangenisdirecteur Drumgoole heeft hem die geslaagde vlucht nooit vergeven en laat Frank overplaatsen naar Gateway.
