Een man wordt ontvoerd en gegijzeld en vervolgens 20 jaar lang eenzaam opgesloten. Wanneer hij op onverklaarbare wijze weer wordt losgelaten begint zijn missie om te ontdekken wie hem al die tijd heeft opgesloten. Langzamerhand raakt hij verstrikt in een web van samenzwering en kwelling.
