Een buitenaards wezen dat lijkt op Ra verschijnt uit de Stargate, doodt vijf soldaten en ontvoert een ander, een jaar na de oorspronkelijke Stargate-missie. Er wordt een nieuw team samengesteld, inclusief enkele oude leden, en ze gaan op zoek naar de vermiste soldaat om erachter te komen hoe Ra nog in leven kan zijn. Ondertussen ontvoeren de buitenaardse Goa'uld Sha're en Skaara, implanteren ze met symbionten en maken ze tot Goa'uld-gastheren.
Nee, helaas is Stargate SG-1: Children of the Gods (Final Cut) nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
