Teddy is een zwendelaar uit New York die op de vlucht is voor de politie. Hij gaat naar Australië waar hij een liftster ontmoet die hem het hoofd op hol doet slaan. Als hij de volgende morgen wakker wordt, blijkt hij met haar getrouwd te zijn en ontmoet hij zijn schoonfamilie. Zijn schoonvader blijkt het plaatsje Woop Woop te regeren en niemand vertrekt zonder diens toestemming. Teddy heeft dan ook een ontsnappingsplan nodig.
Nee, helaas is Welcome to Woop Woop nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
