Max (Gibson) wordt beroofd van al zijn bezittingen en kan nog net de stad Bartertown bereiken, die gerund wordt door Aunt Entity (Turner). Hij sluit een deal met Entity en vecht namens haar in de Thunderdome, een kooi waarin gevechten op leven en dood worden gehouden. Entity belazert hem en gooit hem de woestijn in. Met hulp van een groep kinderen die hij bij een oase vindt, gaat Max weer terug naar Bartertown, om met Entity af te rekenen.
Nee, helaas is Mad Max 3 nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
