Het echtpaar Emile en Françoise Chenal tracht een openstaande schuld van boksmanager Jim Fox Warner op te eisen. Warner staat helaas ook in de schuld bij de maffia. Ondertussen is een detective in het hotel waar zij verblijven, bezig met het onderzoek naar een onopgeloste moordzaak.
