Verdwaasd en gedesoriënteerd wordt David ( Shawn Hattsy) wakker in het ziekenhuis. Hij wordt meteen ondervraagd door een agente (Lorraine Bracco) omdat zijn vriendin Jenny ( Rachel Leigh Cook) en zijn beste vriend Alan ( Jonathan Rhys-Meyers) verdwenen zijn. Als de politie verder in deze zaak duikt, blijkt dat er een merkwaardige driehoeksverhouding bestaat tussen de drie schoolvrienden, waarbij Jenny het mooie middelpunt is. Wie heeft een verhouding met wie? Wie heeft de drugshandel van Alan verraden? En wie is er tot misdaad in staat om zo'n mooie leuke vriendin te behouden?
