John is een beveiligingsagent die zwaargewond raakt in een explosie beraamd door een kwaadaardig meesterbrein. Hij wordt naar een laboratorium gebracht waar zijn beschadigde ledematen worden vervangen door gerobotiseerde, waarna hij zijn nieuwe krachten gebruikt om samen met nicht Penny en trouwe hond Brein te achterhalen wie er achter de explosie zat.
