Nu een soort dominee, is Ripley teruggekeerd naar zijn spirituele thuis en heeft hij Blackpool's eerste Chapel of Love in Vegas-stijl opgericht. Zijn vriend Patrick heeft hem een verzameling voetbal memorabilia nagelaten, waaronder de authentieke Jules Rimet WK-trofee, en twee rivalen zijn vastbesloten om hem in handen te krijgen...
