Er breekt opnieuw een verkiezingstijd aan voor de triades en de zittende grote man, Lok, krijgt het ditmaal aan de stok met zijn vijf peetzonen. Zij azen op de hoogste positie binnen het misdaadsyndicaat, maar Lok is goed op hen voorbereid. In de tussentijd doet Jimmy Li zijn best om uit met de misdaad te breken, maar ook als hij een goede, legale zakenman wil zijn blijkt af en toe inmenging van de triades onontkoombaar.
