Milo is een professionele huurmoordenaar die op het randje leeft. Wanneer Milo voor het eerst een contract niet nakomt, ontvlucht hij de stad om de toorn van zijn werkgevers te ontlopen. Hij verstopt in een afgelegen plattelandsdorp, waar de lokale bevolking hem aanziet voor de nieuwe bakker.
