Nadat hij een radio-uitzending verkeerd heeft gehoord over de kerstman die zijn kerstreis annuleert vanwege een gewond rendier, besluit Olive de hond naar de Noordpool te reizen en zich vrijwillig aan te melden als vervanger. Helaas krijgt Olive te maken met een kwaadaardige postbode die het beu is om alle extra kerstpost af te handelen.
