Een tijdje nadat de Mousekewitz's familie zich heeft gevestigd in Amerika, vinden ze dat ze nog steeds problemen hebben met katten. Daardoor beslissen ze om naar het Westen te gaan, waar hen beloofd wordt dat katten en muizen daar vredelievend samen leven. Maar het blijkt dat een gladde artiest, R. Waul, sinistere plannen heeft voor de muizen.
