De familie Henderson is net op weg naar huis van een uitstapje wanneer ze iets vreemds aanrijden. Ze stoppen, en in de overtuiging dat het merkwaardige wezen dood is, nemen ze het mee. Maar wat schetst hun verbazing dat het helemaal niet dood is, maar zelfs heel levendig en heel geestig - onder een nogal angstaanjagend uiterlijk.
Nee, helaas is Harry and the Hendersons nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
