Fred Flintstone en Barney Rubble leven in een moderne versie van het stenen tijdperk. Fred geeft Barney een som geld zodat hij met zijn vrouw Betty een kind kan adopteren. In ruil hiervoor geeft Barney Fred zijn (betere) resultaten bij een test voor een belangrijke promotie. Fred krijgt de baan, maar heeft niet door dat hij gemanipuleerd wordt door Cliff Vandercave om zo als schuldige aangewezen te kunnen worden bij een groot schandaal. Live-action versie van de klassieke tekenfilmserie.
Nee, helaas is The Flinstones in Viva Rock Vegas nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
