In het Detroit van de jaren 70 valt John Miller voor Sophia, de vriendin van een lokale gangster. Deze is daar uiteraard niet opgezet mee en zet een klus in gang om Miller erin te luizen. Zijn plan werkt waarop laatstgenoemde in de gevangenis belandt. Daar zint hij op wraak.
Nee, helaas is Motor City nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
