Antoine en zijn vrouw Olga runnen een biologische boerderij in een dorp in Galicië, de noordwestelijke regio van Spanje. Hoewel het Franse echtpaar haar best doet te integreren in de gemeenschap, blijft de plaatselijke bevolking hen zien als indringers. Hun verzet tegen een windmolenpark zet de verhoudingen op scherp, vooral met de broers Xan en Lorenzo, die het echtpaar maar al te graag willen wegjagen met hun pesterijen. Antoine en Olga houden echter voet bij stuk, waarna de situatie volledig uit de hand dreigt te lopen.
