De twee immer strijdende zwagers Colin en Howard leven drie deuren van elkaar in dezelfde straat. Wanneer Colin zijn nieuwe kerstverlichting buiten hangt, kan het niet zo zijn dat Howard hierin achterblijft. Hij moet en zal meer indruk maken met zijn verlichting. De strijd ontaardt in een ware oorlog van neonlichtjes en andere lampen, die een gezellig kerstfeest ernstig bedreigen.
Nee, helaas is Christmas Lights nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
