Holly is opgetogen om eindelijk de kinderen van haar verloofde Richard te ontmoeten. Ze zullen aan elkaar worden voorgesteld op een verjaardagsfeest waar ook Richards ex aanwezig zal zijn. Daar aangekomen wordt Holly niet warm onthaald door de kinderen en de ex is niet aanwezig. Het verloofde stel besluit te wachten op haar aankomst. In de dagen die volgen gedragen de kinderen zich steeds vijandiger tegenover Holly.
