Zakenman Bill gaat de confrontatie aan met zijn drugsverslaafde dochter en haar vriend, die hij vermoordt. Hij slaat op de vlucht en stopt onderweg bij een bar waar hij ene Joe ontmoet. Joe haat buitenlanders, hippies en mensen die anders zijn. Bill vertelt hem zijn geheim, waardoor hij in de problemen raakt.
