Voormalig detective Joanne Kilbourn (Crewson) heeft nog altijd geen rust gevonden na de onopgeloste moord van haar man Ian. Als ze met haar vroegere partner Millard (Garber) naar een picknick gaat voor het goede doel ontmoet ze Andy Boychuck (Hays), een oude collega van haar man. Ze ziet hem hevig discussiëren met een jonge vrouw, die beweert dat hij de duivel is. Als de vrouw later op de avond dood wordt gevonden, is Andy de hoofdverdachte. Joanne wil de waarheid weten en zeker zijn of haar vriend schuldig is of niet.
