Een legerarts in Berlijn wordt onterecht beschuldigd van illegale handel in drugs. Vastbesloten om zijn onschuld te bewijzen, ontsnapt hij aan de Militaire Politie en verschuilt zich in een gehuurd appartement van zijn vrouw. Hij weet niet, dat zijn vrouw dit appartement verhuurd heeft aan een nachtclubzangeres. Wanneer hij daar achterkomt, smeekt hij haar hem te helpen. Zij mag hem wel en gaat akkoord. De legerarts gelooft, dat zijn vrouw achter de zwarte markt handel zit.
