Plot

Tijdens WO I is Jerry Jones een danser in een musical voor het leger. Als hij gewond raakt tijdens de oorlog wordt hij producer. Tijdens WO II wordt zijn zoon Johnny Jones opgeroepen door het leger om een show te produceren, This is the army. Op persoonlijk vlak gaat het echter minder goed omdat hij weigert te trouwen met zijn verloofde voor de oorlog voorbij is.
