Buzzy Crocker is een tabloidjournalist die opnieuw de overstap wil maken naar een kwaliteitskrant. Tijdens zijn zoektocht naar een geschikte story ondekt hij het bestaan van het beruchte Hollywood Hotel, waar in de jaren '30 vijf bekende kindsterretjes spoorloos verdwenen. Iedereen beweert dat het hotel bezeten is door geesten, en Crocker besluit om op onderzoek uit te gaan.
Nee, helaas is Tower of Terror nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
