Als zakkenroller kom je rare dingen tegen. Maar zelfs de ervaren Michael Mason ziet niet aankomen dat er een bom in het tasje zit dat hij rolt in Parijs. De Amerikaanse dief overleeft de explosie, maar bewakingsbeelden maken hem wel de enige verdachte van de CIA. Agent Sean Briar krijgt hem te pakken voordat de Franse politie doorheeft hoe het zit, en dat is maar goed ook. Michael is niet de man die Sean zoekt, maar kan hem wel helpen de échte daders te vinden en meer bomaanslagen te voorkomen. En dat doet Sean het liefst zonder Franse pottenkijkers.
Nee, helaas is Bastille Day nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
