De strijd is voorbij en ze kunnen nu hun normale leven leiden... Of dat dachten ze. Zonder tijd om zich te verheugen nadat ze Mirai op wonderbaarlijke wijze had gered van Beyond the Boundary, verloor Mirai al haar herinneringen. Akihito, nu een laatstejaars van de middelbare school, begint Mirai te vermijden omdat hij denkt dat het beter is. Mirai is zich niet bewust van Akihito's gevoelens en probeert dichter bij Akihito te komen. Dan verschijnt er iemand die Mirai kent voor de twee. Met Akihito's problemen tevergeefs, begint Mirai opnieuw aan een gevecht dat haar dwingt om naar binnen te kijken.
Nee, helaas is 劇場版 境界の彼方 -I'll Be Here- 未来篇 nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
