In de nabije toekomst kan de menselijke geest gevat worden. Je kunt daardoor mensen steeds dezelfde nachtmerrie laten beleven in de Virtuele Realiteit (VR). Wie dit als enige kan doen, beschikt over grote macht en het is dan een heel koud kunstje om de wereldheerschappij te veroveren. Het computerprogramma voor VR is in het bezit van Morgan Wells, hij is allang miljardair maar hij wil echter meer.
Nee, helaas is Cyber Bandits nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
