Boef Casey en politieagente Madeline Gentry hebben hetzelfde doel: ze willen allebei misdaadbaas Sanchez - Gentry neerhalen omdat het haar taak is en Casey omdat hij nog een rekening te vereffenen heeft met Sanchez. De twee lopen elkaar echter aanvankelijk in de weg totdat ze beseffen dat samenwerken wellicht vruchtbaarder is. Sánchez heeft inmiddels echter lucht van de zaak gekregen en doet er alles aan om voor eens en voor altijd van zijn achtervolgers af te komen.
