De politie krijgt na lang zoeken eindelijk een beruchte kidnapper te pakken, maar het meisje dat hij heeft ontvoerd is nog steeds spoorloos. De politie vraagt hulp aan een medium die moet proberen te achterhalen of het meisje nog leeft. Helaas is de helderziende niet helemaal bij haar verstand en dwarsboomt ze doelbewust het onderzoek.
