Luitenant Pendelton participeert in een experiment waarbij hij tot de grootte van een molecuul wordt gereduceerd. Maar hij wordt gestolen en komt per ongeluk met zijn capsule terecht in de bloedbanen van de slome Jack die zich tot held moet ontwikkelen om Pendelton te redden. Hun enige hoop is de vriendin van Pendelton, die journalist is.
