Simon Keller (John Cusack), een Amerikaanse dief, arriveert in een vreemd land waar hij op zoek gaat naar een chauffeur voor een vluchtauto. In plaats van iemand uit de onderwereld in te schakelen neem hij een rijles bij voormalig Formule 1-coureur Peter Roberts (Thomas Jane), die nu werkzaam is als rij-instructeur. Als Keller tijdens de les een bank berooft heeft Roberts geen andere keus dan zijn rijtalent aan te spreken om uit handen te blijven van de politie en maffia.
Nee, helaas is Drive Hard nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
