Wanneer Arthur Conan Doyle besluit te stoppen met zijn boeken over Sherlock Holmes wekt dat veel onbegrip op in zijn omgeving. Hij krijgt zijn publicist op zijn dak en ontvangt dood bedreigingen van fans.
