Het doktersechtpaar William en Dakota Block wordt tijdens hun nachtdienst overspoeld met dorpelingen die onder de rottende zweren zitten en een verdacht lege blik in hun ogen hebben. Onder de gewonden is Cherry Darling, een go-go danseres wier been van haar lichaam werd gescheurd tijdens een gewelddadige aanranding. El Wray, haar voormalige wederhelft, staat aan haar zijde en waakt over haar als een havik.
