Een bizarre dag uit het leven van een groep high school kids in Los Angeles. Ze ervaren de ene na de andere bizarre situatie: aliens, zelfmoord, slechte acid-trips, biseksuele ervaringen en de verkrachting van een tv-ster. Als apotheose een chaotisch en surrealistisch bacchanaal dat “the greatest party of the year” wordt genoemd.
