Dylan vecht, samen met zijn moeder Carol, tegen de terminale ziekte waar hij mee kampt. Wanneer ze worden uitgenodigd door een lokaal tv-programma dat wensen vervult, komt Dylan met een nogal onconventionele laatste wens op de proppen. Dylan bereidt zich hierna voor op zijn wens, terwijl Carol zich vooral zorgen maakt om haar dierbare zoon die ze op het punt staat te verliezen.
