David Burke is een kleinschalige drugsdealer die het houdt bij het handelen met volwassenen en dus absoluut niet in zee gaat met de jeugd. Alles gaat van een leien dakje, tot hij onverwachts genoodzaakt is voor het grote geld te gaan. David besluit op een slimme en valse manier een familie te stichten met de buren, wat deel uit maakt van een plan om een grote hoeveelheid wiet de VS in te smokkelen vanuit Mexico.
