Sarah is een klein meisje wanneer ze tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog wees wordt. Ze verschuilt zich in de bossen en probeert een einde te maken aan de oorlog door de spoorbrug waar treinen met munitie overheen rijden, te saboteren. Maar de vraag is of al haar moeite om de brug te vernietigen wel zal lonen...?
