De Herdman-kinderen zijn onmiskenbaar de slechtste kinderen in de geschiedenis van de wereld. Ze liegen, stelen, bedriegen, pesten en terroriseren in het algemeen hun kleine gemeenschap. Maar deze kerst nemen ze het plaatselijke kerkelijk spektakel over, en misschien leren ze onbewust een geschokt stadje de ware betekenis van Kerstmis.
