Wat bracht een voormalige top wetenschapper ertoe een bank te beroven en een dozijn gijzelaars vast te houden? De misdaadthriller van de Tsjechische televisie, gebaseerd op Martin Goffa's roman 'The Little Girl', is samengeperst in twee omgevingen: het interieur van een beroofde bank met gijzelaars en het interieur van een crisisbeheersingsauto, van waaruit de politie communiceert met de mysterieuze aanvaller en, net als hij, probeert tijd te rekken en meer over hem te weten te komen. De flashbacks vertellen ook het verhaal van de dochter van de aanvaller, Karin, uit het recente verleden, en onthullen geleidelijk een verband met wat er in de huidige verhaallijn gebeurt.
