'The Family' is een verfilming van de roman Badfellas van Tonino Benacquista. Het gaat over een maffiafamilie die naar Frankrijk wordt verplaatst in het kader van het getuigenbeschermingsprogramma. Hoe ze ook hun best te doen een nieuw leven te beginnen in Frankrijk, hun oude leven blijft hen achtervolgen, waardoor ze uiteindelijk toch weer hun toevlucht zoeken in gewelddadige oplossingen.
Nee, helaas is The Family nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
