Nu George zoveel tijd doorbrengt met zijn nieuwe vriend Will, voelt Stuart zich eenzaam. Wanneer hij in zijn rode sportautootje naar huis rijdt, wordt hij opgeschrikt door een uit de lucht vallende vogel. Haar naam is Margalo, ze is gewond aan haar vleugel en ze wordt achtervolgd door een grote valk. Stuart neemt haar mee naar huis. Wanneer Margalo spoorloos verdwijnt, ontdekt Stuart dat ze door de Valk wordt bedreigd en dat hij haar gemene dingen laat doen. Met de hulp van de kat Snowbell, probeert hij Margalo te redden.
