Een man, vastbesloten om de jaarlijkse kerstversieringswedstrijd in de buurt te winnen, sluit een pact met een elf om hem te helpen winnen. De elf spreekt echter een spreuk uit die de twaalf dagen van Kerstmis tot leven brengt, waardoor chaos ontstaat in het kleine, nietsvermoedende stadje.
