Het is 12 augustus. Nadat de afstandsbediening van de airconditioning in zijn pension per ongeluk kapotgaat door het morsen van een glas cola, bedenkt 'ik' een plan om met een tijdmachine terug te keren naar gisteren en de afstandsbediening terug te halen voordat die kapotgaat. Zijn vriend Ozu kan het echter niet laten om met het verleden te spelen, zelfs niet als dat betekent dat het universum op de rand van de afgrond wordt gebracht. Nu moet 'ik' door de tijd racen om een ramp te voorkomen.
Nee, helaas is The Tatami Time Machine Blues nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
