Emma, een Franse romanschrijver van 27 jaar, besluit naar Berlijn te gaan en zich bij een bordeel aan te sluiten om de prostitutiewereld, het onderwerp van haar nieuwe boek, te ontdekken. Zoals gonzo-journalistiek, Emma wordt prostituee en haar ervaring, die een paar weken zou duren, zal twee jaar duren. Was het schrijven van haar boek een excuus voor Emma om een beschamende fantasie te beleven?
