In een futuristische samenleving worden mensen bij hun geboorte geselecteerd als soldaat te worden. Ze worden vervolgens tot onmenselijke moordmachines getraind. Eén van de meest succesvolle en oudste soldaten moet de strijd aangaan met een nieuwe lading soldaten. Op de planeet ontmoet hij de inwoners, die er een vredig leven leiden. Deze vrede wordt verstoord wanneer de planeet aangevallen wordt door de nieuwe supersoldaten die de kolonie willen uitschakelen. Todd beseft dat de inwoners in gevaar zijn en hij beslist om hen te helpen.
