De knappe Carly Norris verhuist naar een torenhoog gebouw waar de laatste tijd een serie geheimzinnige en dodelijke ongevallen plaatsvonden. Carly komt in contact met haar medebewoners, onder wie Zeke Hawkins,een welgestelde vrijgezel en Jack Landsford, die bezig is met een onderzoek naar de dramatische gebeurtenissen in het appartementengebouw. Wanneer Carly verliefd wordt op Zeke en Landsford afwijst, belandt ze in een troebele en geheimzinnige wereld, niet wetende dat elke stap in haar luxueuze appartement van minuut tot minuut door een geheimzinnige gluurder wordt geregistreerd.
