Wanneer Callie naar huis terugkeert, merkt ze dat haar geboorteplaats is veranderd: haar eerste liefde heeft een nieuw meisje en het barbecue restaurant van haar familie heeft moeilijke tijden doorgemaakt. Ze komt in botsing met een gestrande regisseur die misschien wel de sleutel in handen heeft om het restaurant te redden.
