In de afgelegen bossen van North Carolina leeft een blinde tiener, genaamd Solomon, in totale afzondering. Ondanks zijn handicap is Solomon in staat om door zijn omgeving te navigeren met behulp van een lang touw dat hij om zijn middel bindt en aan de hut bevestigt waar hij woont. Solomon weet zodoende te overleven door te vissen, te foerageren en andere kleine dieren te vangen. Er komt hier een einde aan als hij bevriend raakt met een jager en ze gekweld worden door een mysterieus wezen dat op de loer ligt in het bos.
Nee, helaas is Tethered nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
