In deze bewerking van 'Groundhog Day', wordt een vrouw onvrijwillig naar een blind date gestuurd met een aantrekkelijke man. Ze zal elke dag twaalf keer opnieuw meemaken, en moet dus twaalf keer op dezelfde date. Hoewel ze de man in eerste instantie geen kans geeft, komt ze langzamerhand tot de ontdekking dat hij charmanter is dan aanvankelijk gedacht.
